Our Projects - Ongoing

The Pearls and Ivy Foundation of Queens, Inc.  host projects that are consistent with our mission to service the Queens community:

The Pearl Scholars Leadership Academy (PSLA)

What is the PSLA? The Pearl Scholar Leadership Academy is a 15-week intensive program dedicated to students in grades 7-11. Our goal is to develop future leaders who will make an impact in our community. The program is structured to provide learning objectives in STEM, financial literacy, civic, social engagement and much more.

We have managed great success with this initiative thanks to our partners at the NYC Department of Youth Programs.

At the conclusion of the program, we will celebrate the Scholars’ achievements. If you are interested in partnering with us, please email us below.

CENSUS Project 2020

We cannot forget what is at stake during census drives: our communities’ money, power, and respect over the next 10 years. The 2020 Census will shape our city for years to come, and we need to do our part to make sure we get it right.

In 2020, We aimed to count everyone accurately while we supported efforts to protect the health and safety of the American public and the Census Bureau team. Current times are unprecedented.

The Pearls and Ivy Foundation of Queens, Inc., partnered with the Queens Borough Office Census 2020.  Through our partnership, more residents completed the census and were counted.
